Welcome to the first newsletter for the Rookly Summer League 2026! This is where we will share updates on the league standings as well as some exciting moments from our incredible players’ games each week.
Our next match is Today, Monday, July 13th at 2:00 PM ET/11:00 AM PT.
The Summer League got off to a great start last week, with an intensely competitive first day that resulted in a tie between our two teams, the Rooks and the Knights. Both teams finished the day with 10 points each!
Will either side be able to break the tie in today’s match? Stay tuned to find out!

Move of the Match
Our first Move of the Match for the Summer League goes to Garrett L from the Knights who landed this incredibly cool checkmate as Black while down material in the endgame.
It’s not every day that you see just a king and bishop deliver checkmate! Very well done by Garrett to spot this finish.
